The IIE’s Varsity College Waterfall campus expansion

The campus head said interested prospective postgrad or undergraduate students should visit our website, make an appointment with a student advisor, and pop in for a campus tour.

The IIE’s Varsity College believes in education by design. The reason? No two students are the same.

Its students’ education is uniquely shaped around each student – how they like to learn, what they are passionate about, what makes them tick, and what makes them thrive.

The brand helps curate an experience for each student that will reflect who they are, and its expanded and improved Waterfall campus replicates The IIE’s Varsity College belief in education by design.

The postgrad and undergraduate students will now have access to a bigger space, more lecture rooms, a canteen, and technology.

“Your tertiary education and lifelong learning are definitely our focus. To find out why and how we’d like to invite you to visit our newly renovated and expanded campus in Waterfall. If you’re starting your tertiary journey, this is the place to be,” said Avadhi Ghela the Waterfall College campus head.

With 32 lecture rooms, which include 11 new ones, the campus can accommodate an intake of 4 000 students in total. The lecture rooms are designed to facilitate progressive and blended learning under the academic guidance of highly qualified lecturers.

This blended learning approach is a dynamic, two-way exchange during which students are encouraged to engage, relate and develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills – the most sought-after skills employers are looking for.

The 438m2 state-of-the-art Info-Hub (library) has doubled in size in terms of the study area. It includes a writing centre, discussion room, and quiet research/study area, and is equipped with additional computer workstations and improved Wi-Fi coverage.

The Info-Hub is all about user-friendly services. This supportive space contributes to the knowledge and skills that will help students thrive in their own future.

The new canteen is spacious and student-friendly, making it the perfect place for students to fist bump, rub shoulders and connect with their peers and friends between lectures – conducive to leading a balanced student life.

A pergola overlooking the new campus garden creates the perfect undercover outdoor social space for students to chill.

“Our campus promises a student-centred experience that is enriching and encompasses all aspects of student life in and outside the lecture room. Interested prospective postgrad or undergraduate students should visit our website, make an appointment with a student advisor, and pop in for a campus tour. We are looking forward to welcoming our current and new students onto campus for the 2023 academic year,” concluded Ghela.
