Christ Church Prep School and College Class of 2022 bags 100% matric pass rate
The school principal Dave Bell said the school is extremely proud of its learners and all the hard work that has gone into achieving these results.
Christ Church Preparatory School and College matrics class of 2022 received a 100% pass rate.
This includes 95% of learners achieving university entrance passes. It equates to 42 of the 44 learners achieving this pass.

“Today [January 18] we celebrate with our matric Class of 2022 and their families, friends, and teachers.”
Among the notable achievements was Uyazi Mthethwa who obtained eight distinctions, Hannah Ritchie and Kamogelo Khumalo each achieved seven distinctions, Caleb Pillay and Esther Qua-Enoo achieved five distinctions each, and Mupeka Tembo achieved four distinctions.
Uyazi and Hannah received a mention for outstanding achievement for placing in the top 5% of IEB candidates nationally, for six subjects or more.
Kamogelo and Hannah were placed in the top 1% for computer applications technology. Hannah was also placed in the top 1% for English and Uyazi was placed in the top 1% for life orientation.
The school’s math departments received 22 distinctions and the life orientation department bagged 20 distinctions.
