Noordwyk resident gets 10% bursary to study at The IIE’s Varsity College Waterfall

He was automatically entered into the bursary lucky draw once he applied for postgraduate studies.

A Noordwyk resident recently won a 10% bursary which will contribute towards his 2023 postgraduate studies.

Phuti Michael-Mokoka attended IIE’s Varsity College Waterfall‘s recent postgraduate information evening where he applied for postgraduate studies.

The evening was aimed at giving prospective postgraduate students the opportunity to explore the campus via campus tours hosted on September 21. The institution’s subject experts led individual breakaway sessions for prospective students to engage with student advisors on campus for more information about postgraduate qualifications.

Mokoka was automatically entered into the bursary lucky draw once he applied for postgraduate studies. He was announced as the winner on October 7. “As a local community member from Midrand, I’m humbled to have won the bursary. I will be doing my IIE’s Bachelor of Commerce Honours in Management in 2023 because of the international accreditation by the British Accreditation Council,” said Mokoka.

All IIE’s Varsity College qualifications are accredited by the British Accreditation Council. “I believe this will give me the edge and I am also happy to study and acquire a qualification that meets international best practice standards. I just fell in love with this campus, as it emulates a supportive yet relaxed atmosphere for learning.”

Mokoka intends on doing his best and hopes to pay it forward one day by helping other students in need.
