Local model reaches the Bare Beauty Mrs South Africa 2022 semi-finals
The programme is the number one pageant and female empowerment programme for married women, in South Africa.
Glen Austin-based model Lechar Knezovich is delighted to have been announced as a semi-finalist for Bare Beauty Mrs South Africa 2022.
Due to the lack of platforms and opportunities for women above 25 to represent South Africa on a global scale, Mrs South Africa is the number one pageant and female empowerment programme for married women in South Africa. It is not a beauty pageant in the traditional sense of the word.
The 31-year-old was announced as a semi-finalist on March 5 via a virtual announcement on the Mrs South Africa Instagram page, together with the other beautiful, sophisticated, and married women of all over South Africa.
The programme is a journey based on pillars of self-development, community work, networking, and business, and has gained the reputation of connecting like-minded women, and equipping them for success in all areas of their lives. At its core, this is a platform that celebrates authentic, relatable, and modern South African women.
Knezovich expressed gratitude for being named among the many beautiful women in South Africa. ”I am exceptionally excited about the journey ahead, to be in the space of such supportive women that have inspiring goals and dreams.”
The programme delegates are women between the ages of 25 and 55 who are mature, driven, ambitious, real, relatable, and always striving to be the best version of themselves.
It was created for women who, ordinarily, would not have such a platform to compete and represent South Africa. Knezovich expressed that she was humbled by the strong and stunning brands she already had onboard as well as the doors Mrs South Africa had already opened for her.
“Dreams of mine have already come true, and I am extremely humbled by the support I have received from so many, I appreciate everyone so much.”
The programme has seen tremendous growth in recent years under the guidance of well-known businesswoman and entrepreneur Joani Johnson, and her management team who are all experts in their fields.
