Spura celebrates being in love in new song
VORNA VALLEY – Tshegofatso "Spura" Mochela said that she would love people to celebrate the month of love by listening and relating to her new single as it was about love.
Tshegofatso ‘Spura’ Mochela celebrates the month of love with her debut single Amahloni, meaning shyness.
Mochela said the newly released song was written by Kgosi Mahumapelo and produced by Sphelele Dunywa.
She said the song was a very powerful love song about a young girl who was not ashamed to tell the whole world about this young man that she was in love with and she expressed it through song.
“I would really love people to receive this song the way I delivered it, with the impression of this being the month of love. Since the song is about love, we’d love to see people relate to it and have someone cross their mind,” said Mochela.
The 18-year-old musician from Vorna Valley said getting this far had been a journey for her and she now finally got to do her own song.
“When I got a call from Ambitiouz Entertainment, I was so nervous because I was not expecting that.
“Despite that, this is a nerve-wracking journey that I am willing to travel regardless, because it is my dream and I am super excited for what the future holds because I know that the future is very bright.”
She added that she was also thinking of releasing a body of work, and would love for this song to be a part of her EP (extended play) that she was going to begin working on.
