In preparation for their transition into higher grades, the Grade 7 learners from Christ Church Preparatory School and College in Midrand spent time with the school’s Grade 12 learners on January 11 learning about the college site.
The Grade 7 learners were divided into groups and each group was hosted by a group of matric learners who explained the differences between the Prep School and the College.

They were made aware of the changes they would face when they began at the college, such as the change in uniform, the change in school times, and the school’s code of conduct.
The school exists to equip individuals to grow in Christian faith, build Godly character, maximise their individual potential, and use their gifts in service to society.
After the information session, they were taken on a tour of the college section of the school. The school took to media and said, “ The Grade 7s enjoyed working out a murder mystery.

“The matric Class of 2022 had put together a ‘murder on the titanic’ set of clues which the different groups of Grade 7s worked through.”
The learners were required to interview various suspects and come to their own conclusions about who was guilty in the team-building murder mystery game.
