Glen Austin achieved 100 percent pass rate

GLEN AUSTIN – The Glen Austin High School celebrated a year with 100 percent pass rate.


Glen Austin High School achieved an incredible 100 per cent pass rate among their 2019 matrics.

The school, which has been in operation for only three years, celebrated another successful year of results. Principal Berthold Moyo said that the school record over the last year has been great and a display of their grown with the school earning a 100 percent pass rate in 2017 and 90 percent in 2018.

Among the 38 matriculants, the school achieved 22 bachelors passes, 12 diploma passes and four higher certificate passes. The school saw their matriculants achieve 17 distinctions among all students with seven distinctions in mathematics literacy, one in mathematics and one in physical sciences.

The top performing student at the school was Caleb Lechet who achieved a tremendous four distinctions in physical sciences, mathematics, computer application technology and life orientation.

Moyo said, “Congrulations to our matrics, go out and fly the flag high in a world that has so much potential, challenges and opportunities.”
