Rabie Ridge Police wishes everybody a happy Christmas

RABIE RIDGE – The Rabie Ridge police station share their tips and wishes for this festive season.

Rabie Ridge Police Station spokesperson Constable Jacob Nhlongo shares the station’s best wishes for Christmas:

To the community of Rabie Ridge policing area, we would like to say Merry Christmas and a happy New Year. Our people must go have fun in their own way but not forgetting that they need to make sure that they are safe.

This is the time whereby everyone needs to make sure they do not carry a large amount of cash when going shopping. Do not accept help from strangers, especially at an ATM because that’s where our people get robbed of their money.

We will be having operations all over our policing area and we urge our community members to play their part by making sure they do not drink and drive, or drink in public as well as walk alone during the night because most of our street robberies, rapes, hijackings and assault cases happen over weekends after 8pm.

Our police station will still operate for 24 hours during this festive and our police are ready and prepared to serve everybody with pride.

Merry Christmas and happy New Year to you all.
