Curro Midrand Sagewood Campus hosted a production of Hooked on Books on 29 August.
A spokesperson for the school Vanitha Govindasamy said that Hooked on Books is an educational theatre company that performs scenes from books to schools all around the country, with a goal to get children reading.
She added, “Through drama and song, costumes and props, three young professional actors with the help of a few learners enacted the story of pre-selected books – never giving away the end.”

The Grade 1 to 7 learners at the school were given a nail-biting live performance to support childhood reading.
