Table tennis star makes Summerhill proud
MIDRAND – A Summerhill School learner won a spot in the Gauteng U13 table tennis team.
Summerhill School has expressed pride in one of their leaners for an amazing performance in table tennis.
A spokesperson for the school Teressa Oates said that Yashvasin Bolishetty took part in the recent Gauteng Table Tennis Selections Trial and was selected to join the Gauteng U13 boys’ team on 7 July.
Oates added, “He was only one of two selected into the team. What makes this achievement even more amazing is that Yashvasin is only eight years of age.”
Bolishetty will represent the province at the Table Tennis Nationals in Outshoorn in September this year.
