Two critical injured following Midrand crash
MIDRAND – Two people have sustained serious injuries in a single vehicle collision on Lachlan Road.
Two people have sustained serious injuries after their vehicle crashed on Lachlan Road in Glenferness, Midrand.
According to Netcare911, reports from the scene indicate that the driver of a light motor vehicle, an adult male lost control after hitting a ditch.

“Paramedics assessed the scene and found that the driver and adult male passenger sustained critical injuries. Both patients required advanced life support intervention to stabilise them,” said Netcare911 in the statement.
“Due to the nature of one of the patient’s injuries, Netcare 3 – a specialised helicopter ambulance – was activated to airlift the severely injured man to the hospital.”
Netcare 911 said the second patient was treated and stabilised on the scene before being transported by ambulance to the hospital for further treatment.
