WATCH: Voters weigh in on what change they’d like to see after the elections – #IMadeMyMark

MIDRAND – We catch up with voters to hear their views, including Skeem Saam actress, Makgofe Moagi.


After the many political parties’ campaign trails, many voters in Midrand took some time after casting their votes on Election Day, 8 May, to explain what they expect from the winning party after the election.

Midrand Reporter‘s journalist, Andrei Van Wyk, asked voters at Future Stars Pre-School and Midrand High School what change they would like to see going forward.

Katlego Titi said she expected to see a balance because currently she finds there is an imbalance between the rich and poor, she expects an improvement in basic services.

Amanda Packery said she would like to see employment tackled by the winning party:

Nozizwe Makgalenele, who voted in 1994, shared her reasons for voting, saying she expects corruption to be tackled:

First-time voter, Regina Kgatle, shared how her voting experience was and how unemployment is the biggest change she would like to see:

Actress from popular SABC soapie Skeem Saam, Makgofe Moagi, shared that people should go out and vote if they want their issues tackled and political parties must implement what they promised, adding a lot needs to change.
