Midrand SPCA unable to do surgery due to load-shedding

The recent load-shedding has had a severe impact on the lives of South Africans.

Many businesses have been impacted negatively, including the Midrand SPCA who is struggling due to load-shedding.

Midrand SPCA is asking for donations to buy a generator and some lights.

“With the current load-shedding, we have no phones, no emails and our vet is struggling to do surgery. This means that we cannot operate and cannot take emergency calls and attend to animals in need! This is a really serious problem but unfortunately we cannot afford a generator,” said Midrand SPCA in a Facebook post.

“Our emergency phones are also running low as we cannot charge them and we need two power banks urgently as well please as these phones are critical for emergencies!”
