The Midrand Police Station has beefed up its staff with nine new recruits.

Midrand Police Station Commander Brigadier David Tsotsotso and Crime Prevention Forum chairperson Steve Johnstone welcomed five female and four male constables to the police force.

Johnstone said these new appointments will give a much-needed boost to the police force. “I am very excited that these new appointments will increase the police force, the CPF and security. This is good for the community because this means that we can more be equipped to fight crime.”

The new recruits from the SAPS Tshwane Police Academy joined the current 200 members of police staff at the Midrand Police Station on 4 January.
