Children of Yenzani Children’s Home in Noordwyk were treated to lunch and gifts when local property company, Motsisi Development, celebrated its anniversary on 8 December.
The company, which was established by a Midrand couple Edgar and Clara Motsisi, said as part of their social responsibility, they chose to host their anniversary celebration with children from Yenzani Children’s Home to make a meaningful contribution. “Our company is five years old today. We don’t have much but with the little that we do have, we wanted to share with the children,” they said.
“We wanted to lift the spirits of the children even if it was just for a day.”
Children were given gift packs with stationery sponsored by Ocean Basket San Ridge and fruit juice sponsored by Nkuna Auto Services.
The couple who were accompanied by their parents and children also spent the day playing games with the children at Yenzani Children’s Home.
