Residents are being warned against taking strangers home with them.
Midrand police spokesperson, Sergeant Matome Tlamela said many people have reported cases of rape and theft.
“Women are now targeting men at clubs, bar lounges and other entertainment areas by means of seducing and drugging them.
“The next day, the man will wake to an empty house, with all his belongings gone.”
This is also practised on women after men spike their drinks and rape them.
Details: Midrand Police Station 011 347 1626.
