ICYMI: Join today’s Pony Club fundraiser

MIDRAND – In Zimbabwe children will do working riding, eventing and dressage.

The Irene Midrand branch of the South African Pony Club will host a fundraiser show on 26 May to raise funds for one of its members to compete in an event in Zimbabwe.

The club is a non-profit organisation that teaches children horsemanship. Sanka Belcher (17) requires funds to travel and participate in a show in Zimbabwe in July.

“During the show in Zimbabwe, children do show jumping, working riding, eventing and dressage. The fundraiser will comprise a jumping show for all our Pony Club members and other horse riders that ride at Angies stables,” said the branch secretary Marryen Querido.

All level riders will pay R150 per class and there will be goodies on sale. The fundraiser show starts at 2pm until 5pm.
