Midrand Police Station arrested 24 people for various crimes between 1 and 4 April.
The station’s corporate communications officer, Warrant Officer Mmakgomo Semono said this great success is proof of the dedication the officers put into their jobs and in the fight against crime.

Thibela Operation was recently conducted and contributed to the high number of arrests.
The 24 arrests are as follows:
- 2 for shoplifting
- 2 for reckless and negligent driving
- 2 for house robbery
- 13 for drunken driving
- 1 for domestic violence
- 1 for fraud
- 1 for housebreaking
- 2 for theft.
Semono said the police are trying to rid Midrand of crime and unlawful behaviour.
