Attend football trials

MIDRAND – The Midrand Vichi Knights will host trials for children between the ages of eight and 16 years old.

 

The Midrand Vichi Knights (MVK) will hold football trials and a training session on 18 February at Halfway House Primary School for all young aspiring players, boys and girls, from in and around Midrand.

The trials are for children within the following age groups:

  • U8 (born 2009) trials will be from 9am to 11am
  • U11 (born 2007) trials will be from 9am to 11am
  • U14 (born 2004) trials will be from 11.15am to 1.15pm
  • U16 (born 2000) trials will be from 1.30pm to 3pm.

Team coach for MVK, Basil Dickason, urged parents to allow their children the freedom and commitment to play a game that crosses boundaries and which could set up an amazing future for their children.

Children participating in the trials should be dressed in shorts, T-shirt, football boots, appropriate socks, shin guards and should also bring refreshments.
