Next year holds potential for Midrand

Midrand residents can expect a lot of changes and improvements within the area next year.

Ward 132 councillor Annette Deppe said, “One can only hope that the improvement in pipe infrastructure can be prioritised to avoid [future] pipe bursts and a low-pressure supply of water.”

According to Deppe, road constructions are also expected to be completed in December with some being completed early next year.

She concluded, “Midrand police, this year, have started rolling out planned operations with the aim of minimising crime in the community, with areas such as Country View bringing on security [companies] to protect the neighbourhood during the day.”
