VORNA VALLEY – Santa makes Christmas special for Vorna Valley children.

Christmas came early in Vorna Valley as children excitedly received gifts from Santa Clause at the Swiss Country Club on 3 December.

The Santa is Coming to Vorna Valley event was hosted by the Vorna Valley Residents Association in conjunction with various partners.

Parents were required to buy gifts not exceeding R250 for each child and deliver them to the organisers. On the day of the event, the gifts were presented by Santa to the children.

Mother of two children, Ronan Gatsi, said she was glad she was part of the event, which was a success. “It was an awesome experience to see the little ones excited by the fantasy of believing that the gifts actually came from Santa. The sparkle on their faces was priceless.”

Jumping castles were also provided for the children’s entertainment and Platinum Residential company was present to ensure that all families left the event with a memory of photographs.

Organisers Paul Mann and Fran Stone said they were happy with the turnout of people and encouraged more resident to take part in next year’s event. “It was a fabulous do and the turnout was better than expected,” said Stone.

“We would like to thank all our sponsors and a big thank you to the Wolf Gang for allowing us to use the venue. We also thank the parents who participated and we are inviting more to come next year.”
