I Am Branded Media, a Midrand company which specialises in developing small businesses by building a marketing foundation for them, is offering any young person in the community a chance to learn about car branding.
Simo Maholwana from I am Branded Media said this is a scarce skill and the company offers it in the hope to inspire youth in the community to take advantage of such opportunities by opening their own businesses.
He said, “Our car branding programmes are free. We will train and create jobs for them and our sessions start next month. We are looking at all people that are interested. We are looking at about five candidates for each session.”
Speaking about the decision to help young people in Midrand, Maholwana said, “I am not rich or making a lot of money, but I appreciate what I get and what I have I try to share so that other people can also benefit. I’ve been inspired by the owners of a company called Kings Court Studio which played a role in making sure that I grow and support and encourage young people like me.”
