Expect traffic delays on southbound M1

JOBURG – Commuters can expect heavy traffic delays along the southbound M1 from 30 May.

The Johannesburg Road Agency has reported that the southbound carriageway of the M1 heading from Midrand will be reduced to two lanes between the Killarney and St Andrews off-ramps from 30 May.

It is reported that the southern on-ramp onto the M1 from Oxford Road will also be closed at Ettick Road.

The roadworks that are taking place are part of the #M1Rehab project that is allegedly set to continue until June 2017.
