1st Halfway House Scout and Cub Group at SOS Wellness market
MIDRAND - The 1st Halfway House Scout and Cub Group attended the SOS Wellness Market in Glen Austin where the Scouts showcased their work.
Pamela Fourie of 1st Halfway House Scout and Cub Group said, “The Scout Group, under the leadership of Devin Fourie, built a pioneering swing. The aim of the project was to create awareness within the Midrand community of the Scout and Cub Group.”
She added that the Scouts received a lot of interest from members of the community at the market and they hoped to grow the number of Scouts and Cubs attending the group in Midrand.
1st Halfway House Scout and Cub Group is situated in Midrand on the corner of Richards and Church streets. Cubs run on a Friday from 3.45pm to 4.45pm and Scouts from 6.30pm to 9.30pm.
