Come for spiritual upliftment
MIDRAND - The Midrand branch of the International Society for Krishna Consciousness, a non-profit organisation in Midrand, will host a festival on 5 September to celebrate Sri Krishna Janmashtami.
This Hindu festival celebrates the appearance day of their deity, Lord Krishna.
The society’s co-president, Nrsimhananda Dasa said, “We will have activities for children and adults, including music and drama performances and a free vegetarian feast on the day.”
Dasa added that all residents were welcome to attend the festival which will be held at 135 Norfolk Road, Carlswald in Midrand.
Secure parking and a shuttle service will be provided starting at10am on the day from 119 Springfield Road, Carlswald, Midrand.
