The armed robbery is one of two garage robberies on 10 August and police reportedly believe they are linked.
The Olievenhoutbosch garage was robbed just after 12.30am, reportedly by five men driving a white Volvo. A petrol station in Centurion was then robbed about half-an-hour later by five men in a vehicle with the same description.
In both incidents, it was reported that the robbers locked the cashiers and petrol attendants in the toilets. They used explosives to open the safe and stole the money.
It was reported police are looking for the suspects and no one was injured in either incident.
