Eskom Athletics Club Night Race results

The Eskom Athletics Club hosted a night race last week Wednesday for the benefit of the SAVF Old Age Home.

Despite a frosty evening, runners flocked to participate in the 4.9km and 10km events in aid of the SAVF Old Age Home.

The results for the 10km are as follows:

Women:
Open: Cindy Simelane (48:01); Martie van Staden (49:40); Lize-Mari van der Merwe (49:41).
First place 40+: Janetta Holtzhauzen (57:08).
First place 50+: Martie van Staden (49:40).
First place 60+: Elma le Roux (1:16:13).

Men:
Open: Mandla Nkabinde (32:05); Scelo Mncwango (33:50); Nkosinathi Skosana (35:27).
First place junior: Pule Mabaso (36:45).
First place 40+: Graham Malinga (36:05).
First place 50+: Lucas Mahlangu (41:55).
First place 60+: Mike Gordon van Dyk (1:14:09).
First place 70+: Des Jelliman (54:50).
