Man found hanging from tree in industrial area

A passer-by made a grim discovery this morning after coming across the body of a male hanging from a tree.

The discovery was made in the industrial area, in the open field near the dumping site in Dr Mandela Drive.

This is the second incident of its kind since yesterday afternoon, after a man was found hanging from a tree in Avalon, near the Klein Olifants River.

Spectators were also greeted with a grim scene in Gholfsig, after the same discovery was made behind the country club on July 25.

• Authorities responded to the scenes to conduct investigations into the men’s deaths.
