Elderly woman’s body found outside pub in Mhluzi
A woman’s body was found outside a bar in Extension 6 this morning.
Residents in Mhluzi woke up in shock as the body of a 59-year-old woman was found outside the popular bar Junxion Lifestyle Lounge.
Her body was found in Extension 6 shortly after 07:00.
At the time of the discovery, the woman did not have any visible marks on her body, and her cause of death is unknown.
The Mhluzi police were dispatched to the scene, and the paramedics declared the woman deceased when they arrived.
Acting Mpumalanga Police spokesperson Colonel Donald Mdhluli said the woman’s identity is known to the police, however, they are waiting for the family to formally identify her before her name can be released to the public.
He also urged the community to contact the police with any information that could help determine what happened.
