- Saturday, August 17 – KEES TALJAARD STADIUM (Lillian Ngoyi Street, Middelburg) 05:00–07:00
Late entries WILL be on sale on Thursday and Friday, 15-16 August, and on the race day, if entry limits have not been reached. Temporary Licenses will be on sale at Race Number Collection. Please ensure you bring the correct change. Card machines will be available. race t-shirts and Buffs will be on sale during the race number collection.
RACE DAY
- Race day venue: Kees Taljaard Stadium (Main Field, Lillian Ngoyi Street, Middelburg)
- Race Date: Saturday, 17 August 2024
- Start Time: 21.1km and 10km at 07:00 and 4.9km at 07:10.
- Only 2024 ASA Licenses will be valid for this race and must be worn on the front and back of your running vest. The ASA branding must be visible above the race number on the front Temporary licenses will be on sale at race number collection days ONLY, if you do not have a permanent ASA license you must purchase and wear a temporary license on race day, which must be placed on the back on your running top for both 21.1km and 10km.
- Club gazebos can be set up at the venue on Friday, August 16 and Saturday, August 27.

TOG BAG
A tog bag area will be available. PLEASE NOTE — whilst best care will be taken at the tog bag area, we will not be held liable for any losses.
T-SHIRT COLLECTION
If you purchased a T-Shirt it will be available for collection on Friday and Saturday
NO EXCHANGING OF T-SHIRT SIZES
T-shirts will be on Sale R260 Cross the Line Buff on Sale R100 PARKING Parking will be available at the Kees Taljaard Stadium.
TRAFFIC & MARSHALLING
We thank all our volunteers and supporters for their time to ensure our route is safe and clean. We will have many Marshalls and Metro personnel at all major intersection. Please note however TRAFFIC will have right of way, all rules of the road must be strictly adhered to.
WATER POINTS & MEDALS
Water points will be every 2.5/3km as well as the finish (no seconding will be allowed except for 100m before and after water point). Medals will be given to all finishers
TIMING
The 10km & 21.1km events will be electronically timed and your timing chip will be attached to your race number. Please make sure you cross the finish mat and do not crumple, bend or fold your bib, as this may damage the timing chip and we may not be able to read your finish time.

LATE ENTRIES, SUBSTITUTIONS, UPGRADES & DOWNGRADES
We WILL BE SELLING late entries during race number collection. Late entries – will only be taken on Thursday and Friday from 10:00–17:00
- Substitutions – will only be taken on Thursday and Friday from 10:00–17:00
- Upgrades – cost of the upgrade is R100 plus the difference in entry fee.
- Downgrades – cost of the downgrade is R100 General
- No Substitutions, Upgrades or Downgrades will be done on race day. It is against race rules to run in another persons race number.
WHAT TO EXPECT AT CROSS THE LINE MIDDELBURG ON THE DAY
The same organisational excellence, hospitality and extreme quality that you have become used to will be present at the Middelburg Cross The Line Half Marathon. We are putting every effort into ensuring that the event meets the highest road running standards, whilst also ensuring a wonderful family day out.
We will be offering family-friendly entertainment, as well as ensuring that the running/walking events cater to all ages and levels of fitness and competitiveness. Children’s entertainment, Jumping castles Runners are able to give back and donate much needed blood at the race thank you to the South African National blood Bank (SANBS).
