Petrol prices to decrease this July

Check below for the official price changes.

Update: The Department of Mineral Resources and Energy has announced the adjustment of fuel prices will be effective from Thursday, July 4, not the expected Wednesday, July 3.

Christmas in July? The Central Energy Fund has predicted a present for all, a decrease in petrol and diesel prices for the second month in a row!

These changes are set to come into effect from 00:00 on Thursday, July 4. So hold off on any refuels until tomorrow and your wallet will be ever thankful.

This cost reduction is a welcome addition in the fight against inflation, with South Africans grateful that the global markets have shifted in our favour over the past month.

It seems we may have been on this month’s ‘nice list’.

• Petrol 93 — R22.86 per litre
