Provincial traffic officer goes missing in Siyathuthuka

The Belfast Police are looking for information on the whereabouts of a missing provincial traffic officer who disappeared off the streets of Siyathuthuka on June 25.

Bongani Mahlangu, provincial traffic officer Piet Mthsweni’s brother, reported him missing after last seeing him waiting for an unknown man near a Siyathuthuka tavern.

Mr Mthsweni was wearing a black ANC branded jacket before his disappearance.

According to the SAPS, Mr Mthsweni never divulged the identity of the person he was waiting to meet.

Since his disappearance, Mr Mthsweni’s cell phone cannot be reached.
He has also not made any attempt to contact family or friends.
