One dead in early morning crash
A woman was killed following an accident involving a single vehicle in the early hours of this morning.
The accident occurred on the N4 between the Bethal and Hendrina offramps, where it was suspected that the motorist fell asleep behind the wheel, proceeding to roll her vehicle.
The vehicle is trapped between the two bridges making it difficult for emergency response personnel to recover the vehicle.
No other casualties are known to be involved at this stage.
The N4 remains open.
