WATCH: Crime syndicate at large – look out for these men

New information has come to light after the police handed over video footage of the armed robberies that have plagued Middelburg in the last month.

Upon investigation of the footage, it becomes clear that the same suspects are involved in multiple robberies.

Screenshots of the footage shows one man in particular that was present during the robbery of Markham and Totalsports in O.R Tambo Street.

Footage shows the same man who robbed TotalSports, was also involved in the Markham robbery.

Four businesses were robbed during the month of October:

•The Touch of Gold Jewellery Store in the Middelburg Mall was targeted by three men on 18 October.

•Totalsports in O.R Tambo Street was targeted by four armed men on 24 October.

•Markham in O.R Tambo Street was robbed on 30 October. See screenshots below:

•Uncle George’s Cafe was robbed last week, where two civilians were shot and injured during the attack.

Video footage of the Markham robbery is now available for viewing by the public.

The Middelburg SAPS says that anyone with information that could lead to the identification and arrest of these men can contact Det. Const. Mahlangu on 013 249 1402.
