Video: Mayor featured on Morning Live
Mayor Mike Masina was featured on SABC 2's Morning Live on 29 December where he was interviewed by Leanne Manas on achieving 16 years of clean audits.
“The Steve Tshwete Local Municipality has done it again. Based in the Middelburg, Mpumalanga Province, the municipality continues to play its cards correctly following the announcement of its clean audit for the financial year 2015/2016.
The municipality has a 16 year old history of clean governance and external service, and due to its approach to service delivery, the municipality has seen a 100% payment rate by its residents,” was how the interview started.
Mayor Masina attributed the success of the municipality to all residents of town as well as competent and hard-working employees who were guided by political heads of department.
