GRAPHIC CONTENT: Dead man in river – passerby stroll pass
The body of an unknown man was found in the Klein Olifants River.
The man was found face down, tangled in the reeds metres from the low water bridge used daily by passersby.
The cause of the man’s death is still unknown and his identity could not be confirmed.

The Middelburg Fire Brigade retrieved the corpse from the river.
