Video: 4SAI Battalion hosts medal parade
Members of the 4SAI Battalion held a farewell and medal parade for their brave and hardworking soldiers.
The ceremony was attended by Mayor Mike Masina and the military’s choir ended the ceremony with beautiful harmonies.
Soldiers of the 4SAI Battalion will be leaving for Port St. Johns in the Eastern Cape on 1 April 2016 for the last training before deployment to the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC).
“After the last training, the troops will reside in Bloemfontein for three weeks from where they will be flying to the DRC come June,” says spokesperson, Major Leon Daniels.
We congratulate our troops and pray for their safe return.
