Man (23) hands himself over to police after murder

Police confirm that they are investigating the murder.

The man handed himself over to the Belfast Police after a twenty-four-year-old security guard was found dead in a field.

The suspect will appear in the Belfast Magistrates Court today.

The body was found in the field of a farm on the Belfast/Stoffberg road. The victim worked at the farm as a security guard.

According to the provincial SAPS office, a murder case is being investigated.

The cause of death is still uncertain, as a post-mortem examination must still be done.
