Traffic Alert: Strike action leads to closure of Van Dyksdrift
The road closures have lead to traffic build-up in the Aerorand vicinity.
Reports of road closures caused by strike action on the Keiskamma and Van Dyksdrift road are being circulated on safety groups.
Tyres and sticks have been placed on the road surface at the Keiskamme and Van Dyksdrift T-junction as well as near Uitkyk towards the N4 hightway. Motorists have also reported that protesters are throwing rocks at vehicles.
The obstruction has lead to a traffic build-up in the area.
Motorists are advised to make use of alternative routes.
