F&K Hire Rising to New Heights
F&K Hire under the ownership and mentorship of Frans and Francois Stapelberg, has been operating independently since February 2011. Their fleet includes mobile cranes ranging from 10 ton – 220 ton, trucks, cherry pickers, man cages, mobile power stations, riggers and rigging equipment.
F&K Hire originated in February 2011, when F&K Engineering, established in 1989, realised the cost effectiveness of establishing an independent company for the crane hire market.
F&K Hire started off with two mobile cranes and has expanded their fleet to the present 13 cranes, ranging from 10 to 220 Ton.
F&K Hire’s fleet includes seven trucks, four JBC Telehandlers, man cages, cherry pickers, as well as two mobile power plants. Rigging teams are also available for hire. The F&K Hire workforce consists of 30 permanent employees, which includes crane operators, truck drivers, personnel platform operators, riggers and maintenance crew.
F&K Hire’s established client base consists of various smaller companies as well as Samancor, Columbus Stainless, South 32, Glencore and Barloworld equipment.
