Poachers killed in shootout with police
Reports have been received of poachers killed in the Loskop Dam Nature Reserve.
According to information the incident occurred on Sunday when a task team consisting of police and Tracker Connect members had an operation in the reserve.
A shootout ensued and two poachers were shot and killed. A member of the task team was wounded during the shootout.
Police discovered weapons and poaching equipment on the scene.
