Shocking child abuse, neglect, exposed
Yet another “Middelburg Monsters” abuse case has rocked the foundations of town.
A Groenkol couple’s three chidren, a 7-day old baby boy, his 9-month old brother and their 8-year old sister, was removed from the house under police custody on Wednesday.
The baby was rushed to hospital by ambulance.
Thousands of rand has already been paid into a special account, set up for the newborn at Midmed Hospital, by concerned residents.
The SAVF welfare offices, are also appealing for diapers, number two diapers and diapers for premature babies, for the newborn.
They are also in need of clothes and milk, Lactogen 2, for the older brother. Contributions can be dropped at the SAVF welfare offices next to the SAVF Home for the Elderly. The office can be contacted on 013 282 4413.
Financial contributions for the newborn’s medical treatment can be forwarded directly to the hospital account: Middelburg Private Hospital – FNB Global Transactional Serviced – account number 6232 9139605 – branch code 255005 with reference number 280784. Proof of payment can be faxed to 086 592 5685.
