This top version of the Alfa Romeo Giulia has prevailed against 23 competitors, and a total of 117 candidates in 10 classes were judged by the readers. The top model of the series thus succeeds the Alfa Romeo Stelvio Quadrifoglio, which won its category in the Auto Bild Sportscars competition exactly one year ago. Both vehicles not only won the same award, but they are also powered by the identical V6 biturbo petrol engine that generates 375kW (510hp).
The Giulia Quadrifoglio’s class-leading performance is guaranteed by the powerful 2,9 V6 biturbo power plant in 100% aluminum, capable of unleashing no less than 380kW and 600Nm maximum torque at 2,500r/min. Delivery to the wheels is the responsibility of the Alfa Active Torque Vectoring system. The eight-speed automatic transmission is calibrated to optimise fluidity and comfort. In RACE mode, the Giulia expresses its full potential with lightning-fast gear changes in only 150 milliseconds.
