Nico and Janke met in Mozambique in 2014, and one of their fondest memories is drinking Morango’s on the beach. They gave all their guests a Moranga as a wedding gift to take home.
The colour scheme for the day was shades of pink with touches of rose gold.
Nico and Janke chose Whispering Thorns as their wedding venue because of the atmosphere and they also loved the trees and natural beauty that it had to offer.
Whispering Thorns supplied the décor. Janke wanted succulents to be featured. To commemorate their wedding day, Nico and Janke planted an Acacia together.
Janke bought her wedding dress at Lady Marmalade and Nico got his suit at Eurosuit
Janke’s make-up was done by Estie’s Nail And Beauty, and she opted to do her hair herself.
The couple wanted a day that was fun for the whole family and everyone could just be themselves.
Whispering Thorns supplied the flowers for the day
Nico and Janke’s wedding theme was shabby chic because they wanted to keep things simple, but elegant.
