From the guy who brought you Ted

As a cowardly farmer begins to fall for the mysterious new woman in town, he must put his new-found courage to the test when her husband, a notorious gun-slinger, announces his arrival.

Cowardly sheep farmer Albert backs out of a gunfight, and his fickle girlfriend leaves him for another man. When a mysterious and beautiful woman rides into town, she helps him find his courage and they begin to fall in love. But, when her husband, a notorious outlaw, arrives seeking revenge, Albert must put his new-found courage to the test.

A Million Ways to Die in the West could’ve have gone plenty of different ways. It is a funny, action packed movie with really funny parts, but also some heartfelt moments, similar to Ted (2012).  This movie could’ve easily been just as good as Ted (2012) or exceeded it, but it does fall short of that. My main problem with this movie, and most movies to come out recently, is the trailers. Some of the funniest jokes, were showed in the trailer, not to mention one of the biggest cameos of the movie. And yes this movie does have some pretty funny cameos such as Ryan Reynolds, and Jaime Foxx but other than that the movie doesn’t have that much else going for it. Besides some really funny supporting cast, Seth Macfarlane does a much better job doing voices and should stick to doing that. A Million Ways to Die in the West uses silly toilet humor for most of its jokes, most of which was done better in Ted. While it does have these negatives there are some moments that make it a very fun movie to watch.
