Deseree laughs about how she manages her organised life. “It starts with very reliable domestic help and good planning,” she reveals. “Also, GHD is a woman’s best friend.”
Married to Richard and mom of an adorable three-year-old, Jayson (“Denis the Menace”, she says), Deseree was born in Newcastle and studied in Pretoria, where she met her husband. The couple moved to Nelspruit years ago, and they thoroughly enjoy the lifestyle. Deseree has taken up mountain biking in the past year and loves doing races over a weekend. She also enjoys simply spending time with her family.
Come Monday morning, it’s a different story, but Deseree doesn’t spend hours on her looks. “I get up at six and am out of the door by seven, everything done,” she says. “I once read that if you spend more than five minutes on your make-up, you’re putting on too much.”
