The hockey challenge was the perfect way to end the season for the Lanies.

Seasonal player or not, the teams were made, the matches were played and Laerskool Malelane’s learners had an unforgettable amount of fun.

The school hosted a special hockey challenge on September 19, with teachers and learners alike taking it on. The camaraderie among the players and teachers was tangible, as they celebrated the day together.

The day also served as a fitting end to the school’s hockey season. “Thank you to all the parents and teachers for all your love and support during the 2024 hockey season,” the school said in a social media post.

“As we celebrate this season, let’s look forward to the next with the same spirit of unity and determination. Together we can nurture and develop the talents of our players, fostering not only their skills on the field but their growth as individuals.”
