Athletes set to compete at Mediclinic Interhigh
Up-and-coming athletes will seek revenge at the Mediclinic Nelspruit Interhigh Athletics meeting.
The event, now in its 68th year, will take place next Saturday at Hoërskool Barberton (BHS).
Hospital manager of Mediclinic Nelspruit, Carmen Savva, says it has been a privilege to sponsor this prestigious event at every hosting school.
“Our association with Mediclinic Nelspruit Interhigh started in 2012 at Hoërskool Rob Ferreira. What a fulfilling relationship this has been. The approach and uniqueness of every hosting school has been truly amazing. We would like to thank every school, and all the teachers, officials, sponsors, spectators, parents and of course, all the athletes for contributing to the success of this day. We look forward to another fun-filled day, the kaleidoscope of colour on and off the field and of course the usual spectacular athletics.”
Tickets are already available at participating schools: BHS, Lowveld High, Bergvlam, Penryn College, Lydenburg, Nelspruit and Rob Ferreira.

• 06:00 – Athletes line up at the back of the first-aid tent
• 06:20 – Athletes march
• 06:30 – Cheerleaders and theme song
• 07:30 – Opening and welcoming
• 07:50 – Athletics programme start
• 13:00 – Cheerleaders change
• 16:30 – Prize-giving.
