IN PHOTOS: Bokke put through their paces ahead of Los Pumas clash
During their practice session the Boks got a taste of the hot Lowveld weather that can be expected this weekend.
Argentina’s Los Pumas lie in wait for the Springboks at Mbombela Stadium this weekend, and the Bokke were put through their paces on Wednesday, September 25, in preparation.
The historic clash is being billed the Battle of Mbombela, as the encounter will determine which of the two nations will emerge with the 2024 Rugby Championship title.
The Argentinians will have momentum on their side, having beaten the Springboks in Argentina on September 21.
But the Springboks will feed off of the wave of Bok fever that is sweeping through the Lowveld with great fervour.
Both sides will need to battle the Lowveld heat on September 28 though, with temperatures expected to climb into the 30s with added humidity too.
The Springboks got to enjoy a taste of what is to come on the weekend during a training session in warm weather on Wednesday.
