Lowveld horse riders excel at national schools league

Lowveld riders excelled and returned home with several rosettes from their various categories, proving that our province is simply growing from strength to strength in the equestrian world.

Gleaming show horses and ponies – turned out to the nines – competed in the 2019 South African National Equestrian Schools Association (Sanesa) championships hosted by Gauteng Province last week.

Taylor Dedekind from Penryn College competed in her last Sanesa show and ended her school league on an exceptional note. Riding on Lord of the Ring, she won her novice Prix Caprilli, making her number one in the country.

She also won her performance riding class and had a respectable sixth place in her dressage class.
